At the time of replacing your brake pads we will find few different choices available in the markets.  How do we know what is best suitable for your car?
To choose the best brake pad option for your vehicle; first, we need to know the road and temperature conditions in your region as well as the car weight and driving style.
There is available few different options to choose from.

  • Semi-Metallic brake pads
It is an economic friction formula.  They are used for everyday driving, have good braking performance, and longer brake pad durability.  This friction has good resistant to brake fade as they conduct heat very well.
  • Ceramic Brake Pads
They have long life and are a bit more expensive.  Their friction formula contains ceramic material, copper fibers and other fillers.  They also handle high temperature and are incredibly good with the rotors and drums.  The ceramic formula provides a nice braking comfort, create less dust, and reduce noise.
  • Carbon Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads
This friction formula is very well known for their prolonged life and potent braking power.

The Ferro-carbon offers a step up in performance from traditional ceramic brake pads.  They are manufactured for severe duty friction and high-speed driving.  Ferro-carbon provides more stopping power and a high resistance to brake fade.

Absolute Friction Canada Brake pads production process

  • Mix all components (Heavy metals, Minerals, Lubricants, fibers, organic material, abrasives, graphite’s, and other components to make a homogeneous mix to guarantee a perfect friction mixture)
  • Positive mold process (To guarantee uniformity on the friction that results in a braking comfort, perfect performance, and excellent final quality product)
  • Curing process (from 1°C to 200°C) at end of the process we checked there is not cracks on the surface
  • Scorching process (650°C to eliminate evaporation of gases and eliminate material that cause fading at braking. Improves coefficient of friction, help to eliminate noises and crystallization.
  • Slotted and chamfered as per O.E specifications
  • Paint (avoids rust and eliminate any porosity on the backing plate)
  • Adding clips anti noise shims and other components for the braking system
  • Packing and go
